Continuously converts power from AC to DC and back again using an inverter and rectifier. This provides direct AC power to electronic devices. Online UPS systems are more expensive than offline UPS systems because of their continuous conversion and better protection features.
Offline UPS
Receives AC power and charges, but only uses the charged AC-DC inverter during a power failure. Offline UPS systems are the most basic models and are designed for small, non-critical applications.
The type of UPS system that’s right for you depends on your industry, size, and equipment needs.
